Finchley Reform Synagogue's kindergarten has rapidly restored its reputation for excellence after being downgraded as inadequate by Ofsted in March.
On a return visit in July, inspectors found "significant improvement" and rated it outstanding in all areas.
They said its well-behaved children make "rapid progress" and enjoy an "extensive range of high-quality learning experiences".
They praised meticulous planning, a stimulating environment and successful partnerships with parents.
Catherine Levy, the headteacher, said: "We are delighted that the kindergarten has once again received the recognition we feel it truly deserves, having rectified the couple of administrative gaps at the last inspection."
Rabbi Miriam Berger of FRS said it was important that Ofsted had recognised "so many of the things that we see as our priorities in creating the next generation of a community of mensches".
