A teenager was tracked down by Jewish security group Shomrim after she went missing yesterday evening.
The 16-year-old from Stamford Hill was described as “high risk” and “special needs”.
She went missing at around 6pm on Tuesday , but was found by Shomrim at around 11pm on the same evening after the group launched a search of the area and via social media. Local police and more than 100 volunteers were also involved in looking for her.
A spokesman for the group confirmed that the girl was found in Stamford Hill. He said, on Twitter, that she was: “Safe and well. Thanks for all help and retweets”.
