An alleged antisemite faces trial accused of racially harassing a Jewish Labour MP.
Joshua Bonehill-Paine, 23, is said to have posted five abusive articles attacking Luciana Berger on his website.
Titles of the articles included "Racist anti-white Jewish Labour MP Luciana Berger exposed", "Is the Labour party a Jewish party" and "The Legacy of Operation Filthy Jew Bitch".
The charge states that he "demonstrated towards Luciana Berger hostility based on her membership or perceived membership of a particular racial group, namely Jews".
Bonehill-Paine appeared by videolink from Wayland prison at the Old Bailey on Tuesday. He was unrepresented during the brief hearing and did not enter a plea to a single charge of racially aggravated harassment of Luciana Berger between October 26 2014 and January 25 2015.
The Recorder of London Nicholas Hilliard QC set a provisional trial date of December 5 and said the defendant will next appear to enter a plea on August 9.
Bonehill-Paine, from Yeovil but of no fixed address, was remanded in custody.
