Man charged over antisemitic abuse in Stamford Hill.

A man has been charged over allegedly shouting antisemitic abuse at two men in Stamford Hill.

Nicholas Sweeney, 34 from Clapton, E5 was charged on Sunday, with two offences of racially aggravated public order.

A spokesperson for Shomrim, the community security group, said its volunteers had alerted the police following the incident, which took place in Brooke Road after 5pm.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan police confirmed that a man had been charged with two counts of racial public order.

He was also charged with one count of criminal damage to a police cell.
