Lewis Bronze gets a gold medal for his services to education

Lewis Bronze, a former editor of Blue Peter and producer of Newsround, has landed an outstanding achievement award for his services to education.

Mr Bronze, 54, runs Espresso Education, a leading supplier of educational video-based digital curriculum resources to English primary and secondary schools.

He picked up the Education Resources Awards (ERA) Outstanding Achievement Award. The company, co-founded by Mr Bronze 13 years ago, has earned many accolades including the industry's top gong, the BETT Award six times, plus a BAFTA.

Mr Bronze tells People: "It is nice to be recognised personally for contributing to an industry and to education in general.
