After years of gaining and losing weight for various film roles, Jonah Hill seems to have ditched the pounds for good, or at least for the warmer season.

The previously rotund Jewish actor's new look comes after taking advice from his famously fit 21 Jump Street co-star Channing Tatum who told him that eating less and exercising more makes slimming down the “easiest thing in the entire world”. Who knew?

Hill, 33, has credited sushi as essential to his new look. “I found that Japanese food was very helpful to me,” he revealed.

Equally beneficial is avoiding the dreaded drink. “It's so annoying because when I don't drink beer, I get really really thin. Then when I drink beer, I get a little bigger” - a similar diet tip to the one Ed Sheeran shared about losing weight before his Thinking Out Loud music video.

The two-time Oscar nominee is now attracting attention every time he steps out, as well online, with Twitter users hailing him as providing motivation to achieve their own slimming goals and asking where they can get hold of the Hill diet plan

But you can't please everyone, it seems. One fan tweeted: "Jonah Hill was attractive before his weight loss."
