A music teacher and Maccabiah Games team manager, is recovering from a testicle-saving operation after being bitten in the groin by a dog.

Joel Goodman, 28, was attacked while out jogging and underwent emergency surgery to save his testicle.

He said the brown and white dog, thought to be an English Bull Terrier, had pounced without warning.

The animal’s owner spoke to Mr Goodman following the incident, but offered no assistance, saying only that he was not from the area before walking off with the dog.
