Jewish star to join Made in Chelsea cast

articlemain

The daughter of Jewish retail entrepreneur Sir Philip Green is to join the cast of Made in Chelsea.

Chloe Green, 20, will appear in the second series of Channel Four's hit docu-soap following the lives of the young and glamorous in fashionable West London.

She became involved in the programme because of her relationship with Ollie Locke, one of the break-out stars of the first series.

Ms Green, who grew up in Monaco and has been involved in designing collections for her father's Topshop chain, said she wanted to work on a project she initiated herself.

"As I am already friendly with lots of the cast it seemed like a good idea," she said. "Hopefully I will have some fun and learn lots from the experience."

Before it was confirmed that she was joining the cast, she said she had her father's full support.

Her boyfriend wrote on Twitter: "Welcome to Made in Chelsea my baby...Can't wait to share this journey with you."

Sir Philip's Arcadia Group has more than 2,000 UK stores and is thought to control around 12 per cent of the retail market.
