The Jewish Chronicle is to launch a search for a new chief executive. The successful applicant will succeed managing director, Alan Rubenstein.
Anthony Julius, chairman of the JC board, said: "We are looking to recruit someone who can guide the newspaper and the award-winning website through an exciting but critical period. The new CEO will be someone who can make a major contribution to the continuing development of the JC brand."
Alan Rubenstein added: "As we look forward to celebrating the JC's 170th anniversary this November, it has been a privilege to have been part of one of Anglo-Jewry's great success stories."
The paper has appointed executive search company Spencer Stuart to conduct the recruitment process.
