“This is a time of celebration and new beginnings but also contemplation and reflection on how we have met the challenges in the year that has passed.
“This year, 5778, will present our country with new challenges; but working together, the Jewish community and people of all faiths and none can and will overcome them.
“Labour is the party that was created to challenge inequality and injustice and, in 5778, we will continue with that proud legacy.
