VJanice Grant is used to planning holidays. Now she is planning weddings.A former Israel Government Tourism officer, who spent more than 20 years working in the travel industry, she has co-founded a wedding planning service. Marry In Style aims to reduce any stress for the happy couple.
Ms Grant, who has experience working in the international events sector, tells People: “I was always being asked to arrange weddings within the Jewish community and beyond. However excited families are, they can find the whole process of putting the wedding together so stressful and are not able to enjoy the occasion completely on the day.
“After all these years, I still get so excited when it all comes together and I still cry when I see the bride and groom under the chuppah.”
What are the hot wedding trends at the moment? “Cupcakes. It’s crazy – everyone has gone cupcake mad."
