Jack Renshaw, the Nazi National Action member convicted of MP murder plot, said Hitler 'was wrong because he showed mercy'

JC reveals the National Action member's chilling rhetoric

"The Jew is a merchant, a deceiver. He is a Jew. He’s nature’s financial parasite and nature’s social vermin," 23-year-old Jack Renshaw told like-minded friends at a gathering in Yorkshire in 2016. "He needs to be eradicated."

Renshaw, who admitted conspiring to murder a Labour MP and was convicted of being a member of proscribed Nazi terror group on (DAY), also said "Hitler was wrong because he showed mercy" at the same meeting.

The ex-BNP member was a key figure in National Action, the far right youth organisation that was banned by the Home Secretary as a terror group in December 2016.

Renshaw was convicted after an eight-week trial, during which he said he hated "all" Jews and the court heard National Action wanted to target a synagogue.

Videos and audio given to the JC reveal the chilling depth of Renshaw's hate.

"Hitler was right in many senses, but you know where he was wrong... He showed mercy to people who did not deserve mercy," Renshaw told a meeting of the far right Yorkshire Forum in April 2016, a recording provided to the JC reveals.

"I think it’s strange that we have people in this movement who are happy to call Jews comrades. You know, Hitler, he had an excuse he had lack of hindsight. We have hindsight, we see what the Jew did. We see what he did when offered mercy. And he acted as the Jew will always act, pretends to be your friend, but puts a knife in your back."

"We need to learn from the mistakes of the National Socialists, and we need to realise that, no, you do not show the Jew mercy."

He went on to say there was "an eternal, a righteous and a holy war", against Jews whom they had to show "that this time it’s for real. They don’t have to fake it".

Renshaw boasted about being a "very good shot", having had "had experience with hunting". "We do need to have the killer instinct, because whether we win through political means or whether we win through violent means, either way there will be violence," he told his audience.

In another speech to a public demonstration in Rochdale, he shouted into a loudspeaker about how the Holocaust had never happened, urging people to "do your bloody maths" because Europe's Jewish population had, he said, risen during the Second World War. and how Jewish people had actually been "put in camps where they belonged to pay off the European people that were robbed by the Jewish bankers".

He said it was "time to point the finger at the real enemy", who "are not the Muslims, are not the ethnics". "It is the bankers and the bankers are Jews," he said.

Videos and audio were provided to the JC by campaigners Hope Not Hate, who exposed the group's murder plot. Renshaw met with Christopher Lythgoe, his co-defendant and leader of National Action, at a pub to plot to murder Ms Cooper and a police detective who had been investigating Renshaw.

At the Yorkshire Forum event in 2016, he took questions from the audience and was asked what he meant when he urged people to show no "mercy" to Jews.

The questioner asked: "But which Jew? Every Jew?"

Renshaw replied: "Er, it’s on camera…Yes every Jew."
