Mark Regev, the new Israeli ambassador to the UK, formally presented his letters of credence to the Queen today.
The letters confirmed his diplomatic credentials, and affirmed the strong ties between the UK and Israel.
The Queen officially accredited him as Ambassador of Israel to the Court of St. James’s.
Ambassador Regev said: “It was a great honour to present my credentials to Her Majesty The Queen. Israel and the United Kingdom are partners and allies. The strong co-operation between our two democracies serves to make both our peoples more prosperous and more secure.”
