articlemain

Campus Jewish Societies in London have held a joint charity ball for the first time in four years as part of renewed efforts to get JSocs across the capital to work together.

The ball was held earlier this month and highlights included a cocktail bar, live jazz performances and a raffle in support of the charity Save A Child's Heart, which raised nearly £2,000.

Adam Schapira, president of the JSoc at University College London, said: "The London JSoc Charity was ball was a tremendous success bringing together over 220 students from 25 different London universities. Jews from across the world united together."

The ball, a collaboration between several London universities, had the support of ELAL, Chaplaincy, WMA, MASA, JLE and the Sir Michael Heller Foundation.
