Former X Factor hopeful Dan Lipman of The Keys has said there is no bitterness after the judges decided to send singer Charlie Healy through to the live shows but axe the rest of the band.
The Jewish musician, 24 and from Hadley Wood, said he was "massively supportive" despite the collapse of the popular band.
"He deserves it and we'll be there all the way for him," said Mr Lipman. "It's better that one of us goes through than none of us. He's got a world class voice.
"We'll come and support him every week – I just hope he can get us some tickets."
Mr Lipman, who currently works in sports marketing, said he would not return to X Factor next year for a third try. He said he planned to go into music management instead.
