Harrison Ford has been told that he will not be punished for accidentally landing his plane on a US airport taxiway.
The American actor and keen pilot, told air traffic control officers that he had been a "schmuck" when he landed his single-engine plane at California's John Wayne airport, in February.
Mr Ford, whose mother is Jewish, caused alarm after he flew over an American Airlines plane with 110 passengers and crew on board.
According to the actor’s lawyer, Stephen Hofer, the Federal Aviation Administration will not be taking any action and he is expected to retain his pilot's certificate "without restriction".
