The media studies graduate, a self-described “troublemaker”, has been billed as a controversial figure. He added: “I’m a very polarising person.
“I definitely like being seen as a dominant person, or a powerful person. So when that power’s given to me, obviously I’ll enjoy it.
“I think a lot of people will say that I do enjoy arguing. I don’t find it difficult to put somebody in their place.
“I think it’s fair to say that I’m quite intolerant of a lot of people really.
“I can’t bear thick people. I can’t stand people who have no intellectual capacity.
“If people like me, then great. If they don’t I'm not going to sit at home and cry about it really. “
Mr Davies added: “When people meet me, they usually without question, just think I’m gay. I’ve been in a relationship with my girlfriend for six years.”
However, when he met show host Emma Willis seconds before entering the house, he appeared to be shaken by jeers from the crowd. He said: “I don’t like it at all. What am I doing?”
