Concerns have been raised about the likelihood of antisemitic abuse and incidents taking place at football's European Championships next year.
MP John Mann, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism, has asked Uefa to explain what will be done to avoid incidents at the Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine next June.
In a letter to Uefa president Michel Platini, Mr Mann cited a pro-jihad banner displayed by Legia Warsaw fans at a match against Hapoel Tel Aviv last month. He wrote: "What are you doing to stop this happening during the tournament?"
In a separate letter to Fifa President Sepp Blatter, Mr Mann complained about comments made by former Fifa vice-president Jack Warner last month. Mr Warner, who faces corruption allegations which saw him resign from the organisation earlier this year, blamed "Zionism" for his exit from the sport.
