Eleven-year-old Nesya Karadi, who was critically injured in an Iranian missile strike on her family home in Bnei Brak on Passover eve, died of her wounds on Friday.
Karadi passed away at Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv and was buried at Elad Cemetery in central Israel on Saturday.
The young girl was critically wounded when a submunition from an Iranian cluster bomb struck her family home near Tel Aviv. The strike left 14 others wounded, including her father, a volunteer with Magen David Adom. He administered life-saving first aid to his daughter before losing consciousness, according to a first responder on the scene.Â

Karadi is the 21st civilian victim of Iranian missile strikes in Israel since the war began on February 28.
Her family shared that she was named “Nesya” (“Miracle of God”) because the midwife described her birth as a miracle.
Upon news of her death, Bnei Brak Mayor Hanoch Zeibert mourned the loss of “a pure girl whose entire future was ahead of her.”
“We pray that God sends comfort and healing to the parents and family,” Zeibert said in a statement. “The municipality will support the family and accompany it in any way that is needed in this time of pain and grief.”
The X account for Israel’s Foreign Ministry also commented on Karadi’s death, writing: “After a long and difficult fight, she succumbed to her wounds. Our hearts are with her family. May her memory be a blessing.”
