A man who allegedly posted antisemitic and threatening messages on Twitter directed at women has been arrested.
Professional Ed Miliband lookalike Shereef Abdallah was arrested today "on suspicion of sending by communication network an offensive or abusive or obscene message".
Mr Abdallah, who had his Labour Party membership suspended after the allegations of cyber stalking came to light, has been bailed until later next month.
The former volunteer for Labour MP Glenda Jackson allegedly wrote messages such as "racist tory anti Islamic scum" and "your nightmare is just starting… it will only get worse for you every day 24/7 till you leave twitter".
