The family of Jeremiah Duggan won a preliminary hearing this week at the High Court which could lead to a second inquest into the 22-year old's death.

Jeremiah's body was found on a dual carriageway in Wiesbaden, Germany on March 27, 2003. German police say Mr Duggan committed suicide by running on to the road. His mother, Erica, claims he was killed elsewhere and then taken to a "stage-managed" scene. She has battled to find out the real reasons into his death. Jeremiah feared for his life after he revealed his faith to a group with which he got involved while studying in Paris.

Mrs Duggan said after the hearing: "I strongly believe there is something wrong with the coroners system in this country when it comes to British deaths abroad."
