Tensions flared at JW3 on Sunday at the Labour leadership debate between Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Smith. But for Mr Corbyn, the drama began even before he walked through the door.
Stepping out of his taxi, he was met by an angry bystander - later identified as Irene Mansfield - who told him: "It's been a long time since the Crouch End days, when my husband refused to campaign for you. And I've disliked you ever since, and I continue to dislike you." The Labour leader responded: "Thank you very much".
In fairness, it might be the mildest insult he has received for a while.
