Mr Lewinson transferred his 40 years’ experience as a teacher to Kisharon’s Day Centre, where he teaches adults with learning disabilities . He said: “I am passionate about Kisharon because I want to help the adults to improve their lives.”

The winner of the two will be decided by JC readers. Visit thejc.com/peopleschoice before July 16 to find out more about Ms Rolle and Mr Lewinson and to cast your vote. The winner’s charity of choice will receive a prize of £500 to train, support, recruit or reward their volunteers.
