The first poles for the Woodside Park eruv have been put in place.
Minister of the local United synagogue, Rabbi Pinchas Hackenbroch, expressed delight "that our eagerly anticipated eruv is at last being constructed. It will be a tremendous contribution to the enhancement of Shabbat, particularly for our large number of young families as well as benefiting our senior members".
Shul chair David Conway praised the rabbi and the many congregants involved in bringing the religious boundary to the area.
