World Jewish Relief has been shortlisted for a Charity Times award for best use of the web for its "Wjrapped Up" campaign.
The promotion gives supporters the opportunity to purchase goods for needy clients worldwide.
Within a month of its launch, the campaign had raised £2,000-plus and it is regularly updated with new items - for example, supporting the charity's East Africa Food Crisis Appeal.
WJR fundraising director Paul Stein said "Wjrapped Up" had succeeded in enabling "a more personal approach to charity giving".
