South London's sole mikveh has reopened after a four-month refurbishment.
The £27,000 refit of the Wimbledon mikveh incorporates a new bathroom suite and tiles.
Opened 20 years ago, it is used by south London residents, women from Brighton and overseas visitors.
It is currently run by Sarah Dubov, who co-directs Wimbledon Chabad with her husband Rabbi Nissan Dubov.
"We wanted to make the mitzvah of mikvah as pleasant and enjoyable as possible," she said.
"It has now been refurbished to a very high, luxurious standard and the response has been very positive."
Funds have come from private donations but there is still a £5,000 shortfall.
