A Group of Southgate Progressive Synagogue congregants made a first visit to its twin Ukrainian community of Feodosia.
They met many community members, a number of them Holocaust survivors, and visited the Shoah memorial for the 2,000 local Jews taken from the town and killed in 1941.
The highlight of the trip was an erev Shabbat service.
