The United Synagogue's blood donor campaign, being run in partnership with the National Blood Service, is to hold its first blood donor sessions.

Hendon Synagogue will be hosting a donation session on November 9, and Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue is supporting a Joely Bear Appeal blood donor session at Fairfield School in Radlett on November 23.

The initiative, which was launched at Rosh Hashanah, is being led by the US's welfare arm Project Chesed.
