Seven leaders from Masorti's Noam youth movement did not entirely hit the heights on their three peaks challenge.
The group's attempt to scale Ben Nevis was thwarted by the strongest winds recorded in the area in 100 years. Travelling on to Cumbria, they climbed Scafell Pike, completing their charity expedition by ascending Snowdon.
Their beneficiaries were the Bereaved Families Forum, facilitating dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian families, Catch-22, assisting young Britons facing hardship, and the Ruth Schneider Fund, offering bursaries for participation in Noam events.
Movement worker Annabel Green said the inspiration was "to give other young people the same opportunities we were fortunate enough to get growing up in Noam". The climbers have raised around £3,000 to date.
Camps co-ordinator Jessie Schlagman was "grateful to everyone who has sponsored us so far but we're keeping our appeal open until after camp this summer".
They failed to scale Ben Nevis but will be making another attempt
And Nick Harringman pledged that another attempt would be made to scale Ben Nevis so sponsors "feel they're getting their money's worth".
