A group of Israeli victims of terror enjoyed dinner with Harry Potter star Emma Watson on Sunday.
The Israelis, visiting under the aegis of One Family, spotted Watson at The Grove in Watford. When one introduced himself to the actress, she left her friends to join their table, signing autographs and talking about her career.
One of the group, 20-year-old Ran Eliya, said: “Harry Potter is massive in Israel and we are all big fans. It was an amazing start to our respite trip with One Family to have dinner with Hermione on our first night. She was so nice to us and seemed interested in why we are here.”
One Family’s Andrew Alexander added: “The group is here for a week and will be meeting hundreds of people from our community. But I’m sure meeting Emma Watson will be the big highlight.”
The group’s itinerary also took in Buckingham Palace, an Arsenal game and a community lunch in Finchley with over 200 people.
