Child survivors of the Holocaust and their families gathered at the new Wiener Library premises in Russell Square to launch an anthology of testimonies.
The collection, We Remember, recalls their traumas and hardships during and after the war.
Some were in camps, some were in hiding and others were on the run.
The testimonies are from members of the Child Survivors' Association/AJR.
Author and historian Simon Sebag Montefiore said "the remarkable, heartbreaking stories are an important historical record of the tragedy of the Holocaust, a tribute to their humanity and will to survive, a memorial to lost families and vanished Jewish communities - and a fascinating read".
