A-level results this year have attracted particular interest because of the introduction of the new A* grade. And many Jewish pupils were star-struck.
At JFS, 48 per cent of grades were As or A*s and more than three-quarters of the 489 results were grade B or above.
Eighty per cent of Immanuel exams were passed at grades of B or better. And King Solomon High School pupils recorded a 99 per cent pass rate overall, with nearly three-quarters gaining a C grade or above.
Hasmonean High's stand-out student is Esther Leah Morrison, who recorded four A* passes and an additional A. Head girl Yona Schiff, who plans to study medicine after a gap year in Israel, achieved three A*s and an A.
Head teachers Andrew McClusky and Rachel Fink said: "We are very proud of all of our students' achievements, those who have attained the highest grades and, equally, those who have made exceptional progress regardless of their starting points."
In the mainstream market, Westminster School pupil Adam Cigman Marks won a choral scholarship to Clare College, Cambridge, having scored 100 per cent in two of his A-levels.
He is taking a gap year to do a course at Trinity College of Music before taking up his Cambridge place.
