A legacy left by a Jewish Care volunteer has aided the revival of a Sunday morning Jewish programme on London’s multi-ethnic radio station, Spectrum.

Original Spectrum Jewish presenter Jon Kaye has returned to the microphone for the hour-long show, which goes out at noon on Sundays on 558 AM and is available digitally.

Mr Kaye — who manages Jewish Care’s talking news and books service —- said the programme had been “made possible by Diana Toeman, who is one of our talking-book readers and has worked for seven years on our monthly audio magazine, Jewish Extra.

“Her late husband, Richard, left a legacy and part of that has helped fund this project. Richard was also one of our talking-book volunteers.”
