Liberal Judaism's LJY-Netzer youth movement is launching an internship-based leadership development programme as an alternative to leading a camp.

Its Summer Options Scheme (SOS) has a UK section based at JHub - which gives office space to faith-based enterprise and social action projects - and an expenses-paid Israeli option. Both feature internships with Jewish social action charities, complemented by input from LJY-Netzer leaders.

Movement worker Sam Cohen said: "Whether it's working for Irac [Israel Religious Action Centre] or René Cassin here in the UK, participants are guaranteed a skill-developing, CV-boosting and meaningful experience."
