Extra police officers will be deployed in Manchester to help congregants get to Prestwich synagogues for Shavuot during a major music festival.
The Parklife festival will attract thousands of fans this weekend for a bill including Jess Glynne and the Chemical Brothers.
Organisers have worked with the police, the city council and the local Orthodox Jewish Liaison Committee to try to ensure safe passage for shul-goers.
A spokesman from the Parklife Community Impact Team said that "the number of community impact officers in the area will be increased, as well as police patrols, to allow people to easily get to their synagogue.
"Issues and concerns can be reported to us over the weekend on 0161 883 1962 - or if you are unable to use a telephone, at the Maccabi Centre on Bury Old Road."
A leaflet distributed by Parklife to the local community promises "a significantly increased police presence" in the area on Saturday night.
"Greater Manchester Police will escort local residents as groups" on Sunday morning.
