Seeking out the Brady bunch at Langdon

articlemain

A Brady club will be a feature of the Quadrant, the flagship Langdon premises in Edgware, catering for young people with learning disabilities.

The Quadrant is set to open later this year after a £1.75 million refurbishment.

It will bring together facilities including accommodation with disabled access, a 24/7 drop-in centre and training areas.

It is envisaged that the Brady centre will offer a range of sports, games, arts and crafts and educational activities for the under-16s with learning disabilities.

Langdon chair Barry Welck expressed thanks to the Bradians Trust and the Brady Clubs and Settlement "for helping Langdon reach yet another milestone in its drive to provide badly needed facilities for these young people".

Brady's Michael Black said it was "a wonderful collaboration. It takes the very best of what the Brady tradition can offer these young people and blends it into the very heart of Langdon's purpose."
