Reunion in Redbridge

articlemain

As part of the celebrations of Redbridge Jewish Community Centre’s 40th birthday, over 250 people attended a reunion evening, with some of the guests seeing old friends for the first time in 20 years or more.

The event was organised in memory of Saul Keene, who died last year. Mr Keene was regarded by many as “the heart of the centre” as a member, volunteer and employee for more than 30 years. His brother Danny said RJCC “was in Saul’s DNA. He was part of the furniture and truly loved it here.”

The £3.300 raised will benefit RJCC and St Francis Hospice in Romford.
