The Ralli Hall community centre has received a major facelift. The oak floor in the Great Hall has been revarnished, many windows have been replaced with double-glazing, and 100 banqueting chairs have been bought. Chairman Roger Abrahams said that he hoped that a concert of “homegrown” talent, to be held in November, would recoup “a good chunk” of the cost.
