Ofsted inspectors have reported significant improvement at the Gan Kinneret Nursery in Edgware, upgrading its overall rating from “good” to “outstanding”.
The inspectors found that the children “make exceptional progress in the nursery from their starting points”.
Staff were “very enthusiastic and have a meticulous knowledge about the individual learning styles and needs of each child in their care”. And the management team was “very ambitious, extremely dedicated and hard working”.
Gan Kinneret was opened in 1980 by head Dina Samson and meets at the Edgware United Synagogue premises.
Mrs Samson was “thrilled” by the report. “The staff and I are so proud that the hard work that we have put in has paid off.”
