Old idea wins a new following at JCD

articlemain

Jewish Child's Day is going retro for Chanucah with the relaunch of its Pick-A-Sticker campaign, which was established in 1947.

It will be promoted through schools and cheders, where pupils will each receive a card of stickers. The idea is to ask 25 family members or friends to donate at least £1 to help a child in need. Every contributor receives a sticker. "The older, simpler techniques often prove to be the best," said JCD director Melanie Klass. "The response has been overwhelming, especially from grandparents who remembered participating in the campaign when it was first launched."

Completed cards will be entered into a prize draw and the 15 winners will receive Cirque du Soleil tickets. More information from JCD -info@jcd.uk.com
