A Norwood partnership with Tottenham Hotspur that will offer sporting opportunities for those with learning disabilities has received a £444,000 grant from Sport England's Inclusive Sport Fund.
Through Change the Game, Norwood and the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation will deliver sporting sessions for over 200 people across London and Berkshire for the next three years.
This will build on the partnership's three-year project to train staff to take the sessions.
A wide variety of sports will be offered and the hope is that some participants will go on to compete in international events.
Norwood chief executive Elaine Kerr was "delighted that we are again working with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation as it continues its commitment to delivering inclusive projects for people with disabilities in our community".
