Rabbi Aharon and Yehudit Zerbib are Northwood United Synagogue's new rabbinic couple, their appointment having been supported overwhelmingly in a members' vote. For the past three years, Rabbi Zerbib has been Chief Rabbi of Bulgaria and previously worked as a spiritual counsellor for young immigrants to Israel. His wife is studying for a BA in business management and has experience in outreach work. Rabbi Zerbib thanked "all the wonderful members who have greeted us with such warmth". The couple start work next month.
