Independent Orthodox primary Noam has purchased a site for its first permanent building.
The seven-acre site in Grahame Park Way, between Hendon and Edgware, is closer to the majority of its 156 pupils than its current base at Wembley Synagogue.
Noam has operated from three temporary homes since launching with five pupils 11 years ago.
Enlarged premises would also enable the school to become two-form, satisfying those on its waiting list.
Future plans were outlined to more than 100 parents at a meeting on Sunday and there were immediate offers of help with fundraising, marketing and planning.
A positive response to our request for support
Governor Richard Denton told them: "Every Noam parent knows that a permanent site is needed whose location better reflects the users of the school".
Project chair Eliot Kaye said that with the "great deal of work to be done, it is very encouraging that we have had such a positive response to our request for support".
