Nightingale gets good report

articlemain

Clapham residential home Nightingale House has been graded good in overall terms by the Care Quality Commission and outstanding in the category of responsiveness.

Nightingale says the findings place it in the top three per cent of UK care homes inspected under the more robust regime introduced by the watchdog in late 2014.

The CQC reported that "people's needs were assessed before they began using the service and care was planned in response. Activities provision was innovative, creative and bespoke."

Chief executive Helen Simmons said the report was "a credit to all staff at Nightingale Hammerson. They share a commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care."
