articlemain

A former chair of Limmud has become the newest member of Norwood's board of trustees.

Along with 11 other trustees, Elliott Goldstein, 30, will help to decide the charity's strategic direction and will have responsibility for overseeing its approach to marketing and communications.

Mr Goldstein, an Oxford graduate with an MBA from the University of Chicago, is the managing director of Anouska Hempel Design. He is currently a trustee of the London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS) and was also recently appointed to the board of the Jewish Community Centre for London.

Norwood chief executive Norma Brier said: "We are delighted to announce Elliott's appointment to the board of trustees. He brings with him a wealth of commercial and communal expertise and will no doubt make an extremely valuable contribution to our life-changing work with people with learning disabilities, and children and families in need."

Mr Goldstein said: "Norwood helps thousands of children, families and adults on a daily basis – and it is a tremendous privilege to be able to play a role in ensuring Norwood's continued success in delivering its many vital services."
