Sponsored by All Aboard Charity Shops, the event saw a 36% increase in participation from the last edition of the tournament, which was held in September, as 19 teams from 13 schools took part in the event, ensuring a total of 180 players took part.

The event was played out in front of 100 spectators, who saw MMK beat Independent Jewish Day School 4-2 in the final.

Nathan Bloohn, School and Sports Coordinator at Maccabi GB, said: “It was brilliant to see such a high-quality tournament with so many players and schools taking part. The knockout rounds were extremely closely contested, the final was a close battle and we keep on seeing with every tournament we host, the quality on show increases.”
