Schools Minister Nick Gibb toured Yavneh College in Borehamwood, taking in a range of lessons and conducting a question-and-answer session with sixth-formers.
Mr Gibb - who was accompanied by local Tory MP James Clappison - praised Yaveneh's high academic standards and its extensive programme of more than 90 extracurricular activities. "I think it's a great school," he said. "To achieve what they have since 2006 is fantastic."
