Minister applauds Redbridge welfare

Health Minister Ivan Lewis praised the work of Jewish Care after touring three of its welfare facilities in Redbridge on Wednesday afternoon.

The visit, arranged at the minister's request, gave him the opportunity to speak to careers, volunteers and clients.

Accompanied by Jewish Care chief executive Simon Morris, Mr Lewis went around the Dennis Centre, caring for those with Alzheimer's, the Mitkadem Centre for people with mental health needs, and Vi and John Rubens House, providing residential, nursing and dementia care.
