Sinai Synagogue youth club in Leeds won RSY-Netzer's annual Purim spiel-off with a skit mixing the nature series Frozen Planet with the sleuthing of Sherlock Holmes.
Nine Reform synagogues contested the challenge of talent and wit, held in Golders Green. Other entries included a risqué puppet show from Finchley Reform, a Glee-worthy crop of catchy numbers from the Alyth hosts and a high octane Rocky Horror "shlock rock" show from Wimbledon.
