Manchester Jewish Housing Association - one of the leading providers of sheltered accommodation for the north-west community – celebrated its 50th anniversary this week.
The association works closely with local partners to provide vulnerable adults with high quality and affordable supported housing.
To mark the anniversary, 94-year-old MJHA resident Isaac Harris was commissioned to draw a series of pictures depicting his memories of the association.
Executive director John Gryckiewicz said: "We are extremely proud of the work we've done. The Jewish community on our doorstep does sometimes get overlooked and we have been on hand to ensure elderly and vulnerable adults are not living in poor housing conditions whilst allowing them to maintain their independence."
It administers four independent living residential units across Greater Manchester and the Fylde coast. Residents from all units often join together for social occasions such as birthdays and festivals.
